Getting Married?

Pet Wedding Attendant

Do you want your pet to be part of your special day? Pawsitive Steps understands that including your pet in your wedding is no different than inviting your family and friends.

As wedding attendants we can assist you with making sure your special day is a success with your fur baby family members at your side, looking and behaving their best.

Our services include but are not limited to:

  • We work closely with you and/or your wedding planner to come up with the best way to execute your vision.
  • Transportation of your pet to and from the rehearsal.
  • Pawsitive Steps will ensure that your dog is beautifully groomed, exercised and is dressed in their special collar or corsage ready for your big day.
  • Transport your dog to the wedding.
  • Your pet wedding attendant will keep you dog entertained and calm prior to the ceremony, we are also available to assist with your pet’s entrance or exit down the aisle and will have them ready to be included in your photographs.
  • Act as a pup-sitter throughout the wedding and/or the reception, and ensure your pup doesn’t eat anyone’s food or leave “surprises” on the lawn.
  • Transport your dog to a location of your choice after the wedding and pictures are taken.
  • Pawsitive Steps can also care for your dog for the remainder of the day so that you can celebrate into the evening without worrying about him or her being left at home alone.

Wedding Day

$75/hour 3 hour minimum

Mileage

.55 cents per miles driven (we use map quest to calculate this)

*Our hourly rate begins at the time we pick up your dog and ends when we drop them off at your desired location.

The Other “Groom”:

Don’t forget to book the groomer before the wedding so fluffy will look his best and rid of dander.

Doggy Role:

Choose an appropriate role for the pup depending on behavior and personality.  An energetic dog might need to be on a leash during the ceremony.  While a more laid back pup might be able to walk down the aisle on his own.  Your dog may bring the “faux rings” on a satin pillow attached to his/her collar.  It’s recommended that your real rings be safely tucked away and not be used for your pet to carry.

Remember pets are like children…unpredictable.
